BTA-04 Convoy x Melissa
Convoy x Melissa
Cybertron General Commander Convoy
● Function: Former General Commander
● Transformation: Dodge SRT-10
Having led the Cybertron forces as their General Commander, Convoy fought countless battles alongside his comrades. However, during the Unicron War of 2005, he was killed in action, and his spark became one with the Matrix.
His body was taken into the custody of the E.D.C. (Earth Defence Command), but Convoy was revived once again through the kiss of Melissa, a Kiss Player.
Through her unique abilities, Convoy gained a new skill: knife wielding.
Can Convoy become the bridge between humanity and the Transformers?
His resurrected body was created through a strange ParasiTech fusion with an Earth-made artificial Transformer. However, the new body consists only of the Convoy Unit; the locations of the two remaining components that previously made up his body, the Roller and Combat Deck, remain unknown.
● Weapon(s): Convoy Gun / Surf Blade
Melissa Fairborn
● Race: Human / Kiss-Player
● Function: Resistance
● Partner: Convoy
● Ability:
An American Kiss Player partnered with Convoy.
Kiss Players are humans with special abilities who can fuse with Transformers through a kiss, granting them additional powers.
Melissa's surfing ability and knife skills are both exceptional.
● Weaknesses:
Surprisingly, she is rather absent-minded.
Although she has excellent reflexes, she is not particularly athletic and lacks stamina. She struggles with studying and cannot read kanji well.
She is not especially fond of junk food, but she loves meat, especially beef, and enjoys Japanese cuisine.
● Profile:
Melissa speaks with a slightly foreign style of speech, often saying things like: "Melissa de-su♪". She was born in New York, USA, and her Japanese is not very fluent.
With a cheerful personality that draws others into her own rhythm, Melissa possesses a unique worldview. At the same time, she is a kind and strong woman with a deeply maternal nature.
While the world views the Transformers as enemies, Melissa believes that: "The Cybertrons are humanity's allies."
As a member of the Resistance, she fights against the E.D.C. (Earth Defence Command).
Long ago, when her father, a military officer, fought alongside the Cybertrons, a young Melissa was saved by Convoy. Melissa disliked her father because he was devoted entirely to his military career, but Convoy stepped in and became a father figure who guided her.
After hearing that Convoy had been killed in battle in America, Melissa travelled to Japan with the Resistance to recover his body, which had been taken by the E.D.C.
There, Melissa's kiss awakened Convoy, allowing him to return with a new body.
BTA-05 Hot Rodimus x Shaoshao
Hot Rodimus x Shaoshao
Cybertron Warrior Hot Rodimus
● Function: Knight
● Transformation: Ford GT
● Ability: When fused with Shaoshao, Hot Rodimus's original pair of Photon Lasers are reconstructed into a matching set of weapons suited for close combat: Tonfa. Likewise, his beloved fishing rod is fused into his arm, becoming the Triple Exhaust Eliminator.
● Ability: After Convoy was killed during the Unicron War of 2005, this idealistic young warrior inherited his will and became the new leader of the Cybertrons. However, when Galvatron, whom Hot Rodimus himself had cast away, crashed onto Earth and caused the destruction of a city, he was overwhelmed by guilt for the disaster he had caused. He surrendered the Matrix of Leadership, the symbol of command, to Ultra Magnus and travelled to Earth alone. Once there, the Anti-Electron Field deployed across Earth by humanity placed a critical strain on his ability to survive. He then underwent a mysterious ParasiTech fusion with the Earth-born Transformer group known as the Legion. Through the kiss of Shaoshao, a girl possessing Kiss Player abilities, Hot Rodimus was reborn with a new chassis and a new fighting style based on Kung Fu.
● Weapon(s): Photon Laser Gun / Exhaust Eliminator
Shaoshao Li
● Race: Human / Kiss Player
● Function: Fugitive
● Partner: Hot Rodimus
● Ability:
A Chinese Kiss Player. Having trained in Kung Fu since childhood, Shaoshao is a master of martial arts. Through her fusion with Hot Rodimus, she enables him to utilise Kung Fu techniques.
● Profile:
Shaoshao has a strong-willed personality. She can be somewhat stubborn and often refuses to listen to other people's opinions. She cannot tolerate people who tell lies. She is exceptionally athletic, with outstanding physical ability and coordination. However, despite her tough exterior, she also has a surprisingly girlish and easily embarrassed side. Her parents run a Chinese restaurant, and throughout her childhood she was constantly moving between China, America, and Japan. Because she was never able to settle down, she struggled to make friends and often felt lonely. When she was young, she felt that her only close friend Melissa had been taken away by the Transformers, causing her resentment towards them to gradually grow. She later fought against Transformers as a member of the E.D.C., but after discovering the truth about the organisation, she abandoned them. When her life was threatened, she was saved by the Cybertron warrior Hot Rodimus, and through him she gradually began opening her heart to others. She loves Chinese food and also enjoys junk food. As for Japanese cuisine... she cannot eat seafood. She absolutely hates raw fish!
● Weakness:
She can't stand anything slimy or gooey! She hates insects and is terrified of ghosts too... Her tolerance is actually pretty limited, so there are quite a few things she dislikes.
BTA-06 Autorooper x Atari
Autorooper x Atari
Autorooper Ne-04
● Function: Police Officer
● Transformation: Patrol Car
● Profile:
Artificial Transformers created by the Earth Defense Force E.D.C. using Transformer overtechnology. They were created to defend the capital city of Tokyo against the mysterious Transformer group known as Legion. As of 2006, twelve E.D.C. Tokyo platoons have each been assigned four units, for a total deployment of 48 Autoroopers. Although they are capable of independent thought and autonomous activity at a level comparable to original Transformers, the enemy species known as Legion possesses superior combat ability. Only by fusing with human Kiss Players through a kiss are they able to achieve equal fighting capability. Their personalities are generally gentle and they are dedicated to their duties, although their attitude can be extremely arrogant. All units originally share the same personality, but because each operates independently and is partnered with a different Kiss Player, slight differences in personality have begun to develop. Unit Ne-04 changed partners from Shaoshao Li to Atari Hitotonari. During its first fusion with Atari, it displayed berserker-like combat power. It occasionally even takes on a lecturing, almost parental attitude towards its partner.
● Weapon(s): Kremzeek Gun / Gatling Pylon
Atari Hitotonari
● Race: Human / Kiss Player
● Function: E.D.C.
● Partner: Autorooper Ne-04
● Ability:
A Kiss Player who partners with Autorooper Ne-04. Kiss Players are humans with the special ability to fuse with Transformers through a kiss and grant them additional power.
● Profile:
Atari is afraid of being hurt and struggles to accept others. Although she keeps people at a distance, she is actually lonely and has a strong desire to depend on others. Despite this, she tends to blame those around her for not reaching out to her. Academically, she ranks around second in her class. However, she is poor at sports and does not have a strong physical constitution. She likes vegetables and fruit but is basically unable to eat meat. She cannot accept the idea of eating animals. Like the other Kiss Players, her abilities suddenly awakened in 2005 for unknown reasons. She was approached by the Earth Defense Force (E.D.C.) as a potential recruit but rejected their offer. However, after losing her parents when the mysterious Transformer group Legion began advancing towards Tokyo, she later chose to enlist in the Tokyo E.D.C. Autorooper unit. There she was assigned the artificial Transformer Autorooper Ne-04, which transforms into a patrol car, as her partner.
● Weakness:
Despite being partnered with an Autorooper that transforms into a patrol car, she suffers from severe motion sickness. Unless she is holding the steering wheel herself, she becomes sick and vomits.
Atari x Autorooper
Atari Hitotonari
● Race: Human / Kiss Player
● Function: E.D.C.
● Partner: Autorooper Ne-04
● Profile:
Atari is afraid of being hurt, which makes it difficult for her to accept others. Although she keeps people at a distance, she is actually lonely and wants someone to rely on. Despite this, she tends to blame those around her for not reaching out to her. Like the other Kiss Players, her abilities mysteriously awakened in 2005. She was approached by the Earth Defense Force (E.D.C.) but rejected their offer. After losing her parents when the mysterious Transformer group Legion advanced towards Tokyo, she later chose to join the Tokyo E.D.C. Autorooper unit. There she was assigned the artificial Transformer Autorooper Ne-04, which transforms into a patrol car, as her partner.
● Ability:
A special ability user known as a Kiss Player, she can fuse with Transformers through a kiss and grant them additional power.
● Weakness:
Although she is partnered with an Autorooper that transforms into a patrol car, she suffers from severe motion sickness and will vomit unless she is holding the steering wheel.
Autorooper (From the Included Booklet)
● Affiliation: E.D.C.
● Function: Police Officer
● Transformation: Patrol Car
● Ability: A man-made Transformer created by the Earth Defense Force (E.D.C.) as an anti-Transformer weapon.
● Character: Through the power of Atari Hitotonari's kiss, he undergoes an extreme size transformation. Taking advantage of his miniature car-sized body, he can infiltrate places normally inaccessible and destroy Legion.
● Weapon(s): Photon Laser Gun
A mass-produced artificial Transformer created in the image of the original Transformers. It is said that they were constructed underground by the Earth Defense Force E.D.C. as strategic weapons against Transformers, although many aspects of their technology remain mysterious. Like other Transformers, they possess emotions and are capable of autonomous operation through their own will. Normally, they partner with humans, transform into vehicles, and patrol the city. Their standard equipment is the Kremzeek Gun. Currently, four units are assigned to each of the twelve platoons. Individual units are identified by number. The unit assigned to Atari is Ne-04, meaning the fourth vehicle of the Ne Platoon. Although all units originally share the same personality, new emotions and individual traits have begun to develop depending on their partners.
Atari-Scream
Atari-Scream
● Function: Air Commander
● Ability: The form taken when the deceased Destron Air Commander Starscream possesses the human Kiss Player Atari Hitotonari. The ambitious Starscream, who sought to claim the position of leader, was destroyed by Galvatron during the Unicron War. However, possessing a unique immortal Life Force, he continued to wander as a spirit even after losing his body, manipulating events from the shadows while possessing other lifeforms in order to reclaim a body of his own.
● Character: Feared throughout the universe as the most ruthless, cold-blooded, and cruel of all Destrons, Starscream was originally a scientist. He is a confident individual who calmly analyses situations and devises strategies. He believes that victory is achieved not through brute force, but through cunning and speed. Even after becoming Atari-Scream, his ambition to one day rule the universe as the Emperor of Destruction remains unchanged.
● Weapon(s): E.D.C Issue Pistol and an Immortal Life Force
Kiss Play Pre-Position Cassettes: Rosanna
Rosanna Cybertron / Idol (Tech Spec on back of box)
Abilities
Her fully automatic microphone responds to her voice, automatically switching between unidirectional, omnidirectional, and ultra-directional modes, allowing it to capture her singing voice in any environment. Even if the microphone were 1,000 km away on a battlefield in the middle of an air raid, it would never miss even the sound of her humming.
Furthermore, almost all of the recording module in her cassette mode remains unused, aside from memories shared with her comrades. As a result, she possesses almost no information that would be useful in actual combat. However, this also means that she still holds limitless potential for the future.
Weaknesses
Always consulting her hand mirror and taking great care to polish and maintain her body, she customised her current colour scheme according to her own tastes. However, her sense of style is not understood by her comrades.
Nevertheless, to Rosanna, having comrades with whom she can openly argue face-to-face is something that brings her more happiness than anything else.

Cybertron
Race: Cybertron
Function: Idol
Transformation: Cassette Tape
"Is everyone happy? Then I’m happy too!"
Profile: In order to compete with Soundwave, who possessed his own team of Cassette Warriors, Broadcast became determined to raise a group of Cassettebots of his own. Among the many Cybertronians, he selected a “miracle” Cassettebot: Rosanna.
She is one of the few Transformers capable of singing and dancing, and she is the only one who truly understands Broadcast’s love of music. Rosanna does not possess an overwhelmingly powerful singing voice, but her songs have an indescribable charm. Some find their wounded hearts healed by her singing, while others are given the courage to carry on.
Always cheerful and unusually energetic, Rosanna also possesses a strong sense of duty. She will try to intervene in even the smallest disputes because she genuinely wants to help. However, because she has little ability to read the atmosphere of a situation, her actions often end up making things even more complicated.
No matter how desperate the situation becomes, Rosanna understands that positive thinking is the key to turning things around. At times, she has encouraged comrades who had been crushed by despair through her singing and her trademark Robot Monkey Dance, giving them the hope to continue.
However, Rosanna was not always the bright and cheerful individual she is today. Those who knew her in the past would be unable to hide their surprise at the change in her personality. This does not mean her appearance has changed.
Ever since she was created, Rosanna had suffered from an inferiority complex regarding her appearance and was unable to feel confident in herself. Because she thought differently from others and was extremely sensitive, she feared being rejected and avoided others in order to protect herself from being hurt.
Because Rosanna viewed everything negatively, she never had companions she could truly call friends.
Wanting to change herself, Rosanna volunteered to join the Cassettebot Troop. Through interacting with her comrades, she learned the importance of trusting others, and she gradually began to shine from within.
She now believes that it is her mission to pass on the positive thinking she learned from the comrades who left her side, sharing it with as many people as possible.

Kiss Play Pre-Position Cassettes: Sundor
Sundor Cybertron / Spy (Tech Spec on back of box)
Abilities
Sundor's twin automatic-targeting blasters can fire 10,000°C Corona Rays capable of melting even Trithyllium steel, but his machine-gun-like chatter is even more devastating. Sundor takes great pride in his beautiful, lustrous body that emits a radiant glow; it cannot be scratched by Null Rays or Photon Rifles, let alone physical weapons such as rapid-fire cannons and missiles. His cassette mode recording module is primarily filled with information about the sun, continuously recording its ever-changing state. The sight of Sundor gliding through the sky with a fiery tail trailing behind him is so captivating that even an enemy soldier who discovers him would forget to pull the trigger and simply stare in admiration.
Weaknesses
However, these abilities are gained by absorbing energy from the sun, and when night falls and the sun disappears, Sundor's confidence begins to fade. To prevent others from discovering this weakness, he leaves the battlefield claiming, "Staying up late is the enemy of good skin!" Sundor's extreme self-centredness and habit of looking down on others makes him the target of criticism from his comrades. Yet he refuses to change his arrogant attitude because, deep down, he realises that he is ultimately an existence that can never surpass the sun.

Cybertron
Race: Cybertron

"The universe revolves around me. That's because I'm the sun!"
Profile: Sundor is one of the younger and less experienced members of the Cybertron Cassettbots. However, he never shows respect for those who came before him... or rather, he simply does not understand that he should. With absolute confidence in his own dazzlingly radiant body, the only thing Sundor truly admires is the beauty of the sun shining above Earth.
Sundor was originally a Destron Cassetron warrior, but while travelling through the Space Bridge from his home planet Cybertron to his assignment on Earth, he was affected by sunspots. This caused abnormalities in the molecular structure of his body, granting him a mutated form that emits a unique light impossible to explain with current Cybertronian science.
Shortly afterwards, Sundor severed communications. Rather than joining the Destron forces on Earth, he appeared as a Cybertron warrior. The soldiers whispered that the sunspots had affected his thought circuits and made him eccentric. However, no one realised that this was actually a secret spy mission known only to Sundor and Megatron.
Broadcast, the Cybertron leader who had fallen behind Soundwave in terms of aerial combat capability due to Soundwave's Cassette Warriors, welcomed Sundor without the slightest suspicion.

Kiss Play Pre-Position Cassettes: Glit
Glit Destron / Doctor (Tech Spec on back of box)
Abilities
Glit possesses advanced medical knowledge across every field, including surgery, internal medicine, and cybernetic technology. His forelimbs are equipped with laser scalpels capable of performing delicate electronic suturing to a precision of 1/10,000th of a micron, while the multifunctional medical toolboxes installed around his waist contain 15,000 different types of medicine.
With these abilities, Glit is capable of providing the best possible treatment under any circumstances.
Rather than a recording module, his cassette mode is equipped with a Head Cleaner Module featuring diagnostic and repair functions. He regularly performs medical check-ups on the internal systems of his hosts, ensuring that his fellow Cassette Warriors can always operate at their full potential.
Although Glit carries no weapons whatsoever, he never shows fear—even when confronted by heavily armed giant warriors of destruction.
Weaknesses
Glit does not take pleasure in wielding his scalpel. In fact, his greatest happiness comes from never having to use it.
No soldier on the battlefield would ever deliberately harm him. Yet every time a warrior is injured, Glit's own heart suffers.

Destron
Race: Destron
Function: Doctor
Transformation: Cassette Tape
"Either stay quiet and let me treat you, or stop getting yourself injured! Make up your mind!"
Profile: "When he appears on the battlefield, there will be no victor in that war. Because not a single warrior will die."
This saying has been passed down among soldiers of both the Cybertron and Destron armies throughout the long years of the Great War.
Glit is the most skilled combat medic among the Destrons. His highly developed sense of smell and optic sensors that shine with a gentle light mean that he never overlooks the wounded, even if they are soldiers from the enemy army. To warriors of the opposing side, exhausted by a thousand-year war, his presence was nothing less than that of an angel.
Although Glit speaks and acts in a gentle manner, he clearly expresses his own beliefs and possesses the inner strength to never yield to violence or intimidation. However, he also has a childish stubborn streak, refusing to change his mind once he has made a decision.
It is said that even the most battle-hardened veterans and bloodthirsty criminals become as obedient as a child with a scraped knee when they are in Glit's care.
On one occasion, Glit's superior officer Megatron became enraged after discovering that Glit had treated an enemy commander. He ordered his soldiers to cut off Glit's arms. However, many soldiers argued for Glit's importance and pleaded with Megatron to reconsider, causing him to withdraw the order.

Kiss Play Pre-Position Cassettes: Cassette Players
Cassette Players (collectors card)
Even many Transformers who have little understanding or appreciation of music would forget their battles and become captivated by their singing voices.
The three Cassette Warriors, Rosanna, Sundor, and Glit, were among the first groups of Transformers to return to Earth after the conflict between humanity and the Transformers had been resolved. They had observed and recorded the 2006 battle involving the Kiss Players from the mechanical moon located in Earth's orbit.
They were sent by Ultra Magnus as goodwill ambassadors, with the aim of rebuilding the friendship between humans and Transformers that had been lost following the Galvatron crash incident; as well as helping restore Tokyo, which had been damaged in the previous battle. Under the production of Broadcast, they formed the unit “Cassette Players” (“Kasepure”) together with three human girls from Earth, performing songs alongside them.
However, this was only their public-facing activity. Believing that the root cause of the previous conflict with humanity was confusion and misinformation, Commander Ultra Magnus devised a secret mission for them: to prevent different species from misunderstanding information about Transformers by managing and secretly manipulating the flow of information. Under the name “K.I.S.S.” (Knowledge Intelligence Security Service), they operate as a covert organisation carrying out this mission.
Even Broadcast was not informed of this true purpose, and some members of the group are deeply troubled by the secret role they have been given.
Sparkbots
Sparkbots
Function: Shikigami (“Familiar Spirits”)
Transformation: Spark
Ability: These three floating spherical entities suddenly appeared before the Kiss Players. Through telepathy, they identified themselves as the “Servants of Primus.”
Normally, they exist as mysterious sphere-shaped objects known as “Sparks,” but when kissed by the Kiss Players, whose abilities were believed to have been lost, they transform into the three Transformers Angela, Zangetsu, and Stardust, granting them the ability to traverse time and space.
Their mission is said to be to use the power of the Kiss Players to recover the “Fragments of the AllSpark,” which were scattered across time and space when an indescribably powerful supernova explosion caused a rupture in the fabric of spacetime.
If they fail to do so, the chain of time will be severed and “the end” will arrive forever.
What is the AllSpark? What is Primus?
Now, a journey through time and space beyond the boundaries of the universe begins.
Character: They always act as if they were originally a single being, moving together as one. However, each possesses their own individual consciousness and thoughts, and it is through these differences that they determine their next actions.
